Special Holiday Romance (Part XI)

As they approached Christmas town, Noel looked around with excitement. It was just like she imagined it would be. All the street lamps were red and white striped just like candy canes. There were Christmas trees everywhere you looked. Christmas lights were crossing every street. All of the lights were reflecting off of the blanket of snow. It was a beautiful sight.
The sleigh landed in front of a large house, built to look like a castle. Mrs. Claus and Noel get out. Froden drives the sleigh away. Mrs. Claus turns to Noel," This is our home, dear. Please come in and meet poppa. He's been wanting to meet you for a long time."
She takes Noel's hand and walks in. The inside of the house was as beautiful as the outside. Garland was hanging everywhere. The entire house was lit up with Christmas lights. A tall Christmas tree stood in the living room with presents all around it. She lets Noel look around for a couple of minutes and then says," Poppa will be in his study going over his list. Let's go surprise him."
Mrs. Claus knocks on a door and opens it. Santa was sitting at his desk looking at a long, long list. He looks up to see them walk in. He lays his list down with a smile on his face. He walks up and kisses his wife on the cheek. He turns to Noel.
" I can see why my son fell in love with you, young lady. I'm glad to finally get to meet you in person. Lucas has told us so much about you."
He holds his arms up. " Can you give me a hug?"
Noel steps into his arms and puts her arms around him as best as she could. She was happy that they both liked her. She could never have imagined anything in her wildest dreams that would match the moment. Santa looks at his watch," You two better hurry if you want to surprise, Lucas. He'll be here in a little over an hour."
Mrs. Claus takes her hand," Come on, dear. We got some things to do before my son shows up. They both hurry out the door. Santa smiles as he sits down. He picks up his list and starts reading it.
